Mark Zuckerberg celebrates 40th birthday with wife Priscilla Chan - shares rare family pics

Mark Zuckerberg celebrated his 40th birthday with his wife Priscilla Chan as his three daughters made rare social media appearances.

The Facebook co-founder posted pictures with his family as he reflected on his life and achievements on his birthday.

“Grateful for my first 40 years! Priscilla threw me a little party and recreated a bunch of places I lived in the early days. Here's to the next 40!.”  Zuckerberg captioned the post containing several pictures.

Chan also took to social media to celebrate her husband’s big day.

“Mark doesn't usually let me go big for his birthday but for his 40th I was allowed to throw a bash as long our friends and family also roasted him. We all had a blast! Let’s just say that no one suffered from a lack of material!”

Alongside pictures of the gathering, she continued, “Jokes aside, as I reflect on the 21 of Mark's birthdays we have spent together, one of my favorite things about Mark is how he really, truly believes in people. He sees the potential in all of us. I have no idea what adventures are coming next, but I’m here for all of them. Here’s to many more.”

The former pediatrician and the Facebook CEO tied the knot on May 19, 2012, in the backyard of their Palo Alto, Calif., home. The couple first met in 2003 as Harvard University students.

They are parents to three children - daughters Maxima (born December 2015), August (born August 2017), and Aurelia (born March 2023).

Two of the oldest Zuckerberg sisters matched in white dresses for the event while their youngest one sported a pink dress with tights and was mostly carried around by her 39-year-old mom.

However, the Zuckerbergs have maintained the privacy of their children by not showing the children’s faces on social media.

The billionaire wore an all-black outfit accessorized with a gold chain while Chan wore a white shirt, blue jeans, and two gold chains.
