Mayim Bialik is now the guest host for “Jeopardy!”
Sony announced Bialik will be filling in as a replacement for Mike Richards who resigned from the esteemed position this week.
The Big Bang Theory star is now scheduled to tape three weeks’ worth of programs i.e. a total of 15 episodes when “Jeopardy!” resumes production this week. Just last week Bialik, who has earned a doctorate in neuroscience, came under fire after she was accused of spreading “vaccine doubt and hawks brain quackery” even though she is vaccinated.
The 40-year-old representative told The Wrap, “She has been fully vaccinated for the COVID-19 virus and is not at all an anti-vaxxer.”
The actress also published a detailed video where she explained her stand when it comes to vaccines, saying, “I have never, not once, said that vaccines are not valuable, not useful, or not necessary — because they are.”
Mike Richards, 46, had stepped down from his position as the host of “Jeopardy!” after past allegations rose about his sexist language and self-acknowledged “insensitivity.”
