Tish Cyrus has confessed there are “definitely issues” in her marriage to actor Dominic Purcell.

While appearing on the podcast Sorry We’re Stoned, the manager and film producer, recalled, “I was so scared when I first met Dom, my husband. I am a Taurus and he is an Aquarius, and every single thing I read said, ‘Don’t even do it. It is the absolute worst pairing.'”

Cyrus, 56, revealed she gets “easily offended” and “takes things so personally,” while Purcell, 54, is “blunt” and “not emotional.”

The mom of 5 adult children explained, “And that could be a problem. But you know what, this is where I’ve grown, is like, I just feel like instead now of me getting so offended, because I respect and love him, that we have conversations. And instead [of] getting so upset and heated about it, and me not taking it personally, just letting him have an opinion. I’ve never been good at that.”

“These are definitely issues. But issues also, because I love him, that I’m dealing with,” she added.

Tish and Purcell began dating in 2020 but kept their relationship a secret until publicized in November 2023.

They eventually got engaged in April 2023 and married in August of the same year.

However, their marriage and relationship were stained after several reports surfaced that Tish and Purcell got together shortly after the Prison Break star hooked up with Tish’s youngest daughter, Noah, 24.

A source close to the family told People, “Noah and Dominic were seeing each other in a friends-with-benefits way, off and on. They stopped seeing each other and then Tish started something up.”

Another source told US Weekly, “The turmoil between Noah and Tish goes far beyond [what people think]. Noah is very distraught over Tish stealing Dominic from her.”

Moreover, it was revealed that Tish and Noah never had a formal conversation about Purcell, which didn’t sit right with the young actress.

The rumor of bad blood only worsened after Noah Cyrus and her old brother Braison Cyrus, 29, skipped the wedding for a Walmart run.

Now Noah seems to have moved on from the family drama after announcing her engagement to fashion designer Pinkus in June 2023.

Noah’s parents Tish and Billy Ray Cyrus were married for 28 years. They had separated two times before finalizing their divorce in 2022.

Tish and Billy share four children together - Miley Ray Cyrus, Braison Chance Cyrus, and Noah Lindsey Cyrus. She also has two children from a previous relationship - Brandi Glenn Cyrus and Trace Dempsey Cyrus who were both adopted by Billy. This marriage also made her a step-mother to Christopher Cody Cyrus - Billy Ray's son from a previous relationship with South Carolina waitress Kristin Luckey
