Wrestling star Brie Bella retires from WWE! Baby no. 2 on the way?

On Sunday's episode of the reality show Total Bellas, Brie Bella announced that she is done wresting in the WWE and is now retiring- this time for real. And twin Nikki Bella does not take the news too well.

The announcement

Brie Bella, who has been married to Daniel Bryan (real name Bryan Danielson) since April 11, 2014, boldly announced on the reality show,

"Bryan and I have an announcement. I decided that after Evolution, I'm gonna be fully retired. I love WWE, but the one thing I learned is that I can't do everything. I just can't. I know deep down inside that I'm making the right decision, that the boots have to be hung, that I need to go back to Phoenix and just really put more concentration on the things that are in my future instead of what was in my past."

The wrestling star first retired in 2016 and returned part-time in 2018. She had competed in the Women's Royal Rumble along with Daniel Bryan against The Miz. She has teamed up with twin sisters Nikki Bella and Ronda Rousey at WWE Super Show-Down against The Riott Squad. Both sisters have not competed in WWE since Evolution. 

Nikki Bella also shared her thoughts in the same episode about retirement, and she was not happy,

"I am a bit shocked right now hearing Brie say that she is going to retire and move to Phoenix. Like talk about dropping two huge bombs. I guess retirement I always thought would be something that Brie and I would talk about together. I just did not expect this big change after such an incredible comeback."

What’s next for Brie Bella?

Bella also shared that she and Daniel Bryan would be leaving San Diego early and will be moving back to Phoenix. And they are already house hunting in Phoenix!  

Bella told her family on the same reality show Total Bellas, "Bryan and I are looking for a house in Phoenix. Cause we're moving back!"

The couple tied the knot on April 11, 2014, after dating for a couple of years.

Is baby No 2 on the way?

Bella had told Bryan during their Phoenix trip,

"I know a couple months ago I told you I wasn't ready for baby number two because I have a lot on my plate. But I've been thinking about it a lot and I think the comeback really made me realize that I am actually ready. And I do want Birdie and our next baby to be close in age."

She also revealed that they will start trying for another baby once they’ve settled into their new home in Phoenix. And husband Bryan shared that he loves the idea!

The couple is already parents to daughter Birdie Joe Danielson, who was born on May 9, 2017. The overwhelmed parents had expressed their joy after their baby's birth,

"There is no better feeling in the world than meeting your daughter. I can't even express the overwhelming joy and love that Bryan and I are feeling. Now we know what parents mean about the love you feel when you first meet your child. Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers on the safety of Birdie coming into this world."
