Bobby Portis – Career

Before fame

While at the University, Bobby Portis played for the Arkansas Razorbacks basketball team. As a freshman, he was named to the Southeastern Conference All-Freshman team and second-team All-SEC. 

In his sophomore year, he led his lead to a top 25 ranking and was named to the preseason All-SEC team. On March 10, 2015, the league's coaches selected him as the SEC Player of the Year.

Played with/against

Portis began his professional career in 2015. On June 25 of that year, he was selected in the 2015 NBA draft as the 22nd overall pick by the Chicago Bulls. With the team, he played against Charlotte Hornets, Detroit Pistons, New York Knicks, Boston Celtics, Golden State Warriors, and Utah Jazz.

In the 2017 – 2019 season, Bobby Portis played against Toronto Raptors, Milwaukee Bucks, Boston Celtics, Cleveland Cavaliers, Philadelphia 76ers, Sacramento Kings, Brooklyn Nets, and Miami Heat.

On February 6, 2019, he was traded for Otto Porter along with Jabari Parker to the Washington Wizards.
