Davis Bertans – Career
League Games
Since starting his career in 2007 Davis Bertans played for ASK Kadeti II (2007-2008), BAA Riga (2008-2010), and Keizarmezs Riga at the start of the 2009–10 season. In November 2010 he signed with the Slovenian club Union Olimpija and in the 2011 NBA draft, he was selected by Indiana Pacers as the 42nd overall pick.
However, Bertans was immediately traded to the San Antonio Spurs.
Davis Bertans signed a three-and-a-half-year contract with Serbian club Partizan Belgrade in January 2012, playing with them until 2014. He was then signed with the Spanish club Laboral Kutxa Baskonia on 19 July 2014.

National Team
Bertans was a valuable member of the national Latvia Basketball team. He represented his country in EuroBasket 2011 and in EuroBasket 2017.
NBA
Davis Bertans signed with the San Antonio Spurs of the National Basketball Association (NBA) on 14 July 2016, making his first debut on 25 October 2016 against the Golden State Warriors. With the team, he had matches against Boston Celtics, Dallas Mavericks, etc.
He was re-signed with San Antonio Spurs on 11 July 2018 on a two-year contract with a $14 million deal. The same season he scored a season-high 21 points in a 132–119 win against Washington Wizards.
Bertans was traded to the Washington Wizards on July 6, 2019, in a three-team deal with the Brooklyn Nets and DeMarre Carroll. His first game with the Wizards was on 26 October 2019.
