Who is Grayson Allen?
Grayson Allen is a basketball player by profession and American by nationality. He plays as a Shooting guard for the Memphis Grizzlies of the National Basketball Association (NBA) having played college basketball at Duke University.

Grayson Allen’s birth took place on October 8, 1995, in Jacksonville, Florida, USA. He was born Grayson James Allen to his mother Sherry Allen, a human resource manager, and his father William Allen, a government contractor.
He is the only child of his parents and does not have siblings. However, his parents took in Grayson’s school friend Tonan Ferrell. Ferrell, who was Allen’s best friend, had been given up by his mother.

Grayson Allen was in a relationship with high school sweetheart Bailey Bunnell and had been dating since 2013. They were in a long-distance relationship while in college as Bunnell had studied at the University of South Carolina. The couple were together until 2018 and broke their 5-year romantic relationship.
Currently, Allen is dating Morgan Reid, a soccer player who plays for Orlando Pride of the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL). Reid also studied at Duke University and graduated in 2018. They had begun dating in late 2018.
The couple married on July 23, 2022. He and his wife are yet to have any children. Moreover, there are no rumors of divorce surrounding the couple.

Grayson Allen – Career
Early Career
While a freshman at Duke, Grayson Allen averaged 4.4 points per game and was named to the ACC all-academic team. In his junior year, he was considered one of the top returning players in college basketball.
During the 2015–16 season, he was one of the best offensive players in the ACC and a major contributor in the NCAA tournament in 2015.

Professional Sportsman
Allen was selected by Utah Jazz as the 21st overall pick in the 2018 NBA draft on June 21, 2018. More than a week later, on July 2, he signed with the Utah Jazz on a rookie contract. His debut NBA game was on October 22, 2018, against the Memphis Grizzlies, in which he scored 7 points.
His career-high was 40 points with seven rebounds, four assists, a steal, and a block, in a game against Los Angeles Clippers on April 10, 2019. On July 6, 2019, it was announced by Memphis Grizzlies that Grayson Allen has been traded to them.

Grayson Allen – Controversy, Foul
Allen assessed a flagrant-one foul during a game against Louisville Cardinals on 8 February 2016. Commentators said that he appeared to have stuck out his leg while on the ground as Ray Spalding was hopping over him intentionally. In the same season (the second game against Louisville), he exchanged elbows while scuffling for a ball on the ground. Grayson Allen later received a technical foul and ejection for yelling at a referee.
On February 25 he tripped opposing guard Xavier Rathan-Mayes of Florida State. For his second tripping incident in less than a month, he received a reprimand from the Atlantic Coast Conference(ACC) a day later.
In the 2016-2917 season, he tripped Steven Santa Ana of Elon and was charged with a technical foul. Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski suspended Grayson Allen indefinitely and stripped him of his team captaincy a day later. However, he was allowed to return to play on January 4, 2017, after being suspended for one game.
