Cam Gigandet’s birth took place on August 16, 1982, in Tacoma, Washington, USA. Born as Cam Joslin Gigandet, his mother is Kim Gigandet, and his father is Jay Gigandet. He is not the only child of his parents and has a sibling, his sister Kelsie Gigandet, who is a hairstylist.

On August 1, 2022, Cam Gigandet and Dominique Geisendorff filed for divorce after 13 years of marriage, which was reported to the public the same month. The court documents stated "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for their split, and they had in fact separated on May 1, 2022. Their divorce was finalized in 2024.

Gigandet began dating Hannah James. With his girlfriend, he welcomed son Dare Wylder James Gigandet on October 16, 2024.

Early Days

Gigandet made his acting debut in 2003 with a guest appearance in an episode of the TV series CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, followed by recurring roles in The Young and the Restless (2004) and Jack and Bobby (2005). He also portrayed Kevin Volchok in a total of 15 episodes of The O.C. (2005-2006), which gained him recognition in Hollywood.

Finally, in 2008, Cam Gigandet landed the role of Ryan McCarthy in the 2008 film Never Back Down alongside Sean Faris. This is considered his breakthrough role.
