Candice Olson is a designer, TV host by profession, and Canadian by nationality. She is well known as the host of the TV shows Divine Design and Candice Tells All which aired on W Network in Canada and on HGTV in the USA.

Candice Olson’s birth took place on October 27, 1964, in Toronto, Canada. Her birth name is Candice Kelly Olson. Other details of her early life including that of her mother, father, and siblings are yet to be shared with the public. Information on her parents’ work is also not known.

Following high school graduation, Candice Olson went on to study at the University of Calgary while she played for the Canadian National Women's Volleyball Team. She later transferred to the School of Interior Design at Ryerson University in Toronto from where she graduated.

Early Days, TV show

After graduation from college, Olson went on to establish her own residential and commercial design practice- Candice Olson Design, in 1994. The company was based in Metro Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

She also went on to host the TV show Divine Design on Canada's W Network. The show, which premiered in the fall of 2001, was a major success. Two years later, in 2003, the series premiered on HGTV in the USA.

Her third show Candice Tells All premiered on HGTV on January 1, 2011, and on W Network in Canada on January 6, 2011. The show ended in the fall of 2013.

Books, Others

In 2016 Candice Olson released her first book Candice Olson on Design: Inspiration and Ideas for Your Home while her second book Candice Olson: Kitchen & Bathrooms was published on March 22, 2011. Since then she has published four more books Candice Olson: Favorite Design Challenges (2013), Candice Olson Everyday Elegance (2013), Candice Olson Bedrooms (2012), and Candice Olson Family Spaces (2012).

Moreover, Olson also has launched the Candice Olson Collection which is made up of products in the home décor market. It includes an upholstered furniture line for Norwalk, a lighting line, a line of rugs for Surya, a table line with Revco International, a wallpaper line for York Wallcoverings, etc.
