Daniel Diemer’s birth took place on 21 June 1997 in Vancouver, Canada. The name of his father is Greg Diemer while the name of his mother is not shared with the public. He is not the only child of his parents and has a sibling, younger brother Aaron Diemer. He grew up in Brentwood Bay on Vancouver Island.

For education, Daniel Diemer studied at Pacific Christian Secondary School. He had planned on being a professional athlete but due to several sports-related injuries, he had to give up on tennis, soccer, and volleyball after high school. He had signed up for pre-med classes at Camosun College but as his injuries hit, he began to pursue a career as an actor.

Thus Diemer enrolled in the Victoria Academy for Dramatic Arts and graduated from the same in 2016 with a diploma in film and TV acting.

Diemer began living alone in Vancouver while auditing the classes of esteemed acting coach Andrew McIlroy. His first work was an appearance in the 2014 music video for the Calgary pop band Sidney York.

In 2019 he landed a recurring role in the Facebook web series Sacred Lies and a role in the Second World War drama The Man in the High Castle (2015). 

Finally, Daniel Diemer was cast in the 2020 Netflix film The Half of It as Paul Munsky, a jock who enlists a straight-A student to help him win the love of his dream girl.
