(2010), etc. He finally gained fame as Conrad De Groot, a series regular, in the Australian TV drama series Crownies.

Daniel Lissing played the main role of James King in the short-lived series Last Resort (2012-2013). Finally, in 2014, he was cast as Jack Thornton in the Hallmark series When Calls the Heart. He portrayed the character, which is considered his breakthrough role from seasons 1 through 5.
