Lori Loughlin was born on July 28, 1964, to her mother Lorellee Loughlin, and her father Joseph Roy Loughlin, a foreman for the New York Telephone Company. Her birthplace is said to be Queens, New York, U.S.A. but some claim that she was actually born in Hauppauge, New York on Long Island. The confusion has already been clarified by Loughlin herself! She explained in an interview, "I grew up in Hauppauge but I was born in Queens.”

She and her husband have two daughters together- Isabella Rose Giannulli and Olivia Jade Giannulli born on September 16, 1998, and September 28, 1999, respectively. Olivia is a YouTuber and has her own YouTube channel where she does make-up tutorials.

Early Career
Though Lori Loughlin is an actress now, her career did not start that way. At the age of 11, she was hired to become a print model. She already had an interest in becoming an actress and this achievement was a stepping stone in her career.
Modeling gave her the confidence she needed to become an actress. At the age of 15, Lori Loughlin was cast as Jody Travis in the ABC soap opera The Edge of Night. She appeared in the series for 3 years from 1980 to 1983. For the next 4 years (from 1983 to 1988), she appeared in numerous shows as a guest.
Her breakthrough role came as Rebecca Donaldson in the 1987 sitcom, Full House. Initially, she was cast for only six episodes and later was made a regular. She portrayed the role of Rebecca Donaldson until the show’s cancellation in 1995, after eight seasons.

After 1995, she starred in Hudson Street (1995–96), A Stranger in the Mirror (1993), In the Line of Duty: Blaze of Glory (1997), Critical Mass (2000), Suddenly Susan, Spin City, Seinfeld, The Drew Carey Show, Birds of Prey (2002).
From 2004 to 2005, Lori Loughlin co-created produced as well as starred in the drama series Summerland as Ava. After the show was canceled, she starred in In Case of Emergency (2007), Moondance Alexander (2007), Comedy Central's The Roast of Bob Saget, and Meet My Mom (2010).

Back in 2018, the celebrity couple had been charged with paying over $500,000 in bribes to pave their two daughters' way into USC as bogus rowing recruits. Around 50 individuals including a dozen parents were revealed to have been involved in the nationwide college admissions scandals, dubbed varsity blues.
Amid Operation Varsity Blues, Loughlin was dropped from the Hallmark channel as well as fired from the final season of Fuller House.
Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli are already facing charges of wire fraud, and money laundering, and their trials are expected to begin in 2020.
