Olivia Jade Giannulli’s birth took place on September 28, 1999, in Los Angeles, California, USA. Her parents are Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli. Loughlin is an American actress known for her role in the series Full House, Fuller House, and When Calls The Heart while her father is a fashion designer and founder of Mossimo, Inc.
Giannulli is not the only child of her parents. She has a sibling and a half-sibling. Isabella Rose Giannulli is her older sister and Gianni Giannulli is her older half-brother.

Although Olivia Jade Giannulli is mostly known as the daughter of Lori Loughlin, she has begun to make a name for herself via social media platforms.
Before fame
While still a high school student, Giannulli opened her YouTube channel. In the videos, she shared her makeup tips while also sharing her life events with her online followers. Soon she opened an Instagram account and gained followers, thanks to her parent’s fame.
By February 2019, she already had more than 1.9 million subscribers on YouTube and over 2 million followers on Instagram.
She also appeared in the 2016 episode of the game show Tap that Awesome App.
Worked in
In the April 2016 issue of Teen Vogue, Olivia Jade Giannulli and her sister Isabella Giannulli were featured. The then 16-year and 17-year-old teens had talked about their dreams to launch a beauty or skincare company one day.
Through her father Mossimo Giannulli’s links, she had already established brand deals with Amazon, Lulus, Marc Jacobs Beauty, Smashbox, Dolce & Gabbana, Sephora Smile Direct Club, Too Faced Cosmetics, Boohoo, Unilever’s TRESemmé. She even had an Olivia Jade-branded makeup kit.

In March 2019 Federal prosecutors revealed that 50 people are part of the scheme involving cheating on standardized tests or bribing college coaches and school officials. Among 33 parents, both of her parents were listed.
Her parents had paid $500,000 in bribes to a coach at the University of Southern California (USC) to let her and her sister Isabella Giannulli join the University as college athletes. Both Olivia Jade Giannulli and her sister never played and never had an interest in becoming competitive rowers.
For College admission, she had posed for a photo on an ergometer rowing machine which was sent as part of her application to USC. While the news broke, she was reported aboard a USC college official's yacht in the Bahamas for spring break.
On the contrary, she was giving advice to her YouTube followers on how to apply to Universities.

When Olivia Jade Giannulli lost in a 2016 episode of Tap that Awesome App, another contestant, Marissa Rachel reported that the show was refilmed to create the appearance that she had won.
In 2017, she was filming herself with a mobile phone while driving when she crashed her car. Next year in August 2018, she posted a YouTube video saying,
“I don’t know how much of school I am going to attend but I am going to go and talk to my deans and hopefully I can try and balance it all. But I do want the experience of like gamedays, partying… I Don’t really care about school…as you guys all know.”
Following the backlash, she apologized for her remarks in her following video. The video resurfaced in March 2019 amid a US College entrance scandal that had already damaged her image and immediate career.

Following the exposure of the names of the US College entrance scandal, dubbed Operation Varsity Blues, she has lost deals with Sephora and TRESemmé. Sephora had already pulled her beauty products from the country’s stores. Both the sisters have reportedly dropped out from USC in the fear of “getting bullied”.
Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli are already facing charges of wire fraud, and money laundering and their trials began in 2020. Lori Loughlin, and Mossimo Giannulli both served prison sentences, and their daughters, Olivia Jade, and Isabella Giannulli eventually were no longer enrolled at USC.
