On October 21, 2019, the university registrar released a statement that the sisters are longer enrolled at the school but couldn’t provide additional information due to student privacy laws.
Back in 2018, the celebrity couple had been charged with paying over $500,000 in bribes to pave their daughters way into USC as bogus rowing recruits. Around 50 individuals including a dozen parents were revealed to have been involved in the nationwide college admissions scandals, dubbed varsity blues.
While another celebrity couple Felicity Huffman and William H. Macy pleaded guilty alongside several others, Loughlin and her husband pleaded not guilty to the charges. Their trails are expected to begin in 2020.
USC has since been reviewing the admissions of 33 current students involved in the scandal.
