Who is Fabien Frankel?
Fabien Frankel is an actor by profession and British by nationality. He is well known for starring in HBO's House of the Dragon as Ser Criston Cole which is based on George R. R. Martin's book Dance of the Dragons.

Fabien Frankel’s birth took place on 6 April 1994 in London, England as Fabien Joseph Frankel. His father is the late English actor Mark Frankel and his mother is Caroline Besson, a French advertising executive.
His parents were not together for a long time as his father passed away in a motorcycle accident when he was two years old while his mother was pregnant with his younger sibling, younger brother Max Frankel. Caroline raised the brothers in London and was taught to speak French at home.

After completing high school., Fabien Frankel took a one-year Foundation Course at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA). He went on to attend the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA) and graduated from the same with a Bachelor of Arts in Professional Acting in 2017.
His ethnicity includes French from his maternal family and English, Jewish, and Indian from his paternal side as they were from Iraq and India.

Early Days
After graduating from college, Fabien Frankel went on to work at Charing Cross Theatre in the stage production of The Knowledge (2017). Two years later, he made his screen debut in the 2019 romantic comedy film Last Christmas. The same year he was cast as the lead character Theo Sipowicz in the pilot of AMC’s NYPD Blue spin-off series.

This was followed by guest roles in four episodes of the TV mini-Series The Serpent as Dominique Renelleau and in the 2021 episode of the TV series An Uncandid Portrait Gaspar Chevrolet. He also portrayed the character of Dixon in the 2022 film Venice at Dawn.
Finally, Frankel was cast as Dornish Marcher knight Ser Criston Cole in the Game of Thrones prequel series House of Dragon. The series is based on George R. R. Martin's book Dance of the Dragons. This is considered his breakthrough role.
