Freya Allan’s interest in acting began when she was in her early teens. At the age of 12, she portrayed roles in the theatre production of Rapunzel at the Oxford Playhouse.

Films, Series

Before Allan was able to land major roles in films and series, she was cast in 2017’s short films Captain Fierce, Bluebird, and Christmas Tree. Just a year later, in 2018, she bagged a guest appearance in an episode of the science fiction action series Into the Badlands as Minerva. 

In October 2018, it was announced that Freya Allan would take on the lead role of Ciri in the Netflix fantasy series The Witcher. She has portrayed the character from 2019 to 2025.

Since then, she has also starred in BBC miniseries The War of the Worlds (2019), The Third Day (2019), and Gunpowder Milkshake (2020).

Freya Allan has also starred in the films Gunpowder Milkshake (2021), Badhead (2023), Kingdon of the Planet of the Apes (2024), and The Rats: A Witcher Tale (2025).
