Kira Kosarin was born on October 7, 1997, in Morristown, New Jersey, USA. Her birth name/full name is Kira Nicole Kosarin. 

Both her parents are Broadway performers- father Danny Kosarin, a music director, conductor, and record producer, and mother Lauren Kosarin, also an actress. Her parents initially raised her in Boca Raton, Florida. Does Kira Kosarin have a brother? As of now, she has not revealed if she does not have siblings and might be the only child.

For education, she attended Pine Crest School and also learned ballet at the Boca Ballet Theatre. Born and brought up in a family of performers, she too grew up acting, dancing, and singing.

Her ethnicity is European, Ashkenazi-Jewish.

Kira Kosarin has been in a few short relationships and has identified as bisexual. She dated now ex-boyfriend Nick Merico in 2014 and Chase Austin from 2014 to 2015.

In 2016 there were rumors that she was dating her co-star and on-screen brother Jack Griffo. The rumors circulated after Griffo shared a picture of them in wedding dresses on Instagram. Despite raging rumors, both stayed put. Finally, in January 2017, they put the rumors to rest, revealing that the photo was taken to prank their fans!

She began dating boyfriend Max Chester in July 2020. As she is unmarried, divorce and extra-marital affairs are out of the question.

Early Days

When Kira Kosarin was still in her early teens, she attended "acting on camera" workshop. The workshop influenced her she fell in love with it. So, in 2011, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in acting.

Kosarin‘s debut role was in an episode of the sitcom Shake It Up (2012), where she played the role of Raina Kumar. In 2013, she was cast as the lead character Phoebe Thunderman in Nickelodeon’s The Thundermans. She portrayed the character until 2018.

She also has a YouTube channel where she posts songs as well as music covers. On February 24, 2018, Kira Kosarin announced that she would be releasing her debut single, which she did on March 16, 2018. Her single is titled Spy.
