Louanne Stephens is an actress by profession and American by nationality. Having started her career as an actress at the age of 45, she is best known for starring in the films Vengeance, What Josiah Saw, and in the TV series Longmire, Friday Night Lights.

Louanne Stephens was born on February 20, 1956, as Louanne Worley in Texas, USA. His father was in the Marines during World War II while her mother was a homemaker. She is not the only child of her parents and has a sibling- a younger brother whose name is not known to the public.

For education, Louanne Stephens attended Arlington Heights High School in Fort Worth, Texas from where she graduated with honors. She later joined Hardin Simmons University and graduated from the same in 1964 with majors in English and communication. She earned her Master’s degree in American literature from Tulane University.

Louanne Stephens – Boyfriend, Husband, Children, Divorce
Louanne Stephens and her boyfriend Michael Stephens fell in love in their senior year of high school aged 17 while they played Dr. Gibbs and Mrs. Gibbs in the school play OUR TOWN. They got married on June 27, 1964, when she was 18 years old. Her husband completed medical school at Tulane University and interned in New Orleans. He eventually began practicing nephrology.
The couple has three children together- two sons and a daughter. They seem to be happy with their marriage and wish each other their wedding anniversary on social media. There are no rumors of divorce surrounding the couple.

Louanne Stephens – Career
Early Days
Louanne Stephens participated in plays while a student in high school and continued to do so through college. She also joined community theater but did not think of pursuing a career as an actress until she reached her 40s. Prior to acting, Stephens taught American literature in high school. She began to take acting classes after her three children began school.
Stephens’ debut screen role was in the 1986 film Dallas: The Early Years as a minor character. This was followed by small roles in the films Blaze (1989), The Big Green (1995), Instinct (1999), Rolling Kansas (2003), The Night of the White Pants (2004), etc.

Films, TV Series
Finally, in 2006, Louanne Stephens was cast as Mrs. Saracen / Grandma Saracen in the TV series Friday Night Lights. This is her breakthrough role.
Since then she has appeared in the episodes of the TV series Prime Suspect (2011), Heartbeat (2016), Longmire (2012-2017), Reservation Dogs (2021), Better Call Saul (2022), etc. She also has starred in the films Cowgirls 'n Angels (2012), Mahjong and the West (2014), Song to Song (2017), What Josiah Saw (2021), and Vengeance (2022), to name a few.
