Who is Madelyn Gosselin?

Madelyn Gosselin is a reality TV star, YouTuber by profession, and American by nationality. She is best known for starring in the reality TV series Jon & Kate Plus 8 alongside her parents Kate Gosselin, and Jon Gosselin, and her fraternal twin Cara Gosselin and sextuplet siblings.

Madelyn Gosselin’s birth took place on October 8, 2000, in Hershey, Pennsylvania, USA. She was born Madelyn Kate Gosselin to her father Jon Gosselin and her mother Kate Gosselin.

She is not the only child of her parents and has 7 siblings including a fraternal twin sister named Cara Gosselin. She is six minutes younger than her twin and both were five weeks premature.

Her other siblings are younger sextuplets- brothers Aaden Jonathan, Collin Thomas Gosselin, and Joel Kevin Gosselin, and sisters Alexis Faith Gosselin, Hannah Joy Gosselin, and Leah Hope Gosselin.

Madelyn Gosselin and her twin sister graduated from Lancaster Day School in May 2019 and joined two different colleges in New York City.

Her ethnicity includes German, English, Scottish, Irish, Welsh, Korean, French, and Canadian.

After Madelyn Gosselin’s sextuplet siblings were born, the family was cast in the NBC reality TV show Home Delivery. In 2005 the family was cast in Discovery Health’s Surviving Sextuplets and Twins and just a year later, they were featured in Sextuplets and Twins: One Year Later. 

After the shows were a success, the Gosselin family went on to star in Discovery Health’s Jon & Kate Plus 8, which began airing in 2007. However, when Madelyn Gosselin’s parents divorced in 2009, the reality show's final episode last aired on September 12, 2011. 

After a 3 year hiatus, the reality show starring the life of Kate and her children named Kate Plus 8  returned. Its first episode of the 3rd season aired on January 13, 2015, on TLC while the last episode for season 6 aired in 2017.

Recently, TLC announced that they will be hosting a College Bound special on Kate Plus 8 while Kate Plus Date aired on TLC in 2019. In addition, Madelyn Gosselin now has opened a YouTube channel and as of October 2019 has around 2.86k subscribers.

Madelyn Gosselin – Complicated relationships

Following their parents’ divorce, the Gosselin siblings have also faced problems. Madelyn Gosselin’s two siblings- Hannah and Collin live with their father while the rest of her siblings live with their mother.

It has been long rumored that Madelyn Gosselin is not close to her father and has limited contact with her two siblings who live with her father.

However, in mid-2020 Collin made shocking allegations against his father calling him a "liar". He also alleged that his father physically abused him.
