Marisol Nichols is an actress by profession and American by nationality. She is well known for starring in Fox series 24 as Nadia Yassir and in the CW drama series Riverdale as Hermione Lodge.

Marisol Nichols’ birth took place on November 2, 1973, in Rogers Park, Chicago, Illinois, USA. She was born to her mother Maria Patnick while the identity of her biological father is not shared with the public. She was also raised by her stepfather Randy.
She is not the only child of her parents and has two siblings- younger brothers Erik Pachnik and Andre, who have already passed away.

For education, Marisol Nichols attended Naperville North High School. Following graduation, she went on to attend the College of Dupage.

Marisol Nichols married her longtime boyfriend Andrea Sorrentino on November 18, 1995. The pair had while on the set of the movie My Father's Shoes. However, just a couple of years later, they divorced which was finalized in 1998. They did not have any children together.
She went on to date and marry Taron Lexton, a cinematographer/director, on 13 April 2008. With her husband, she welcomed her daughter Rain India Lexton on September 30, 2008. In November 2018 it was reported that she had filed for divorce from her husband of 10 years, having separated two years prior.
Currently, Nichols is believed to be single.

Early Days
Nichols began her career as an actress in the year 1996. Her debut role was in the TV pilot My Guys as Angela followed by an appearance in the series Due South and Beverly Hills, 90210 in the same year.
In the following years, Marisol Nichols had minor roles in the films Scream 2 (1997), Jane Austen's Mafia (1998), The Sex Monster (1999), etc and in the episode(s) of ER (1997), Boy Meets World (1999), Malcolm & Eddie (2000).
Finally, in 2000 she was cast as Victoria Santiago in the TV series Resurrection Blvd. She portrayed the character until 2002, for a total of 53 episodes, and is her breakthrough role.

Since 2000, Marisol Nichols has starred in the films The Princess and the Marine (2001) as Meriam Al Khalifa, Homeland Security (2004), Delta Farce (2007), Felon (2008), and Spiral (2021), among others.
She has worked excessively on TV rather than in films. Over the years she has had recurring appearances in the TV series Cold Case (2004), Blind Justice (2005), In Justice (2006), 24 (2007) as Nadia Yassir, The Gates (2010), GCB (2012), Teen Wolf (2015-2016). In 2017 she was cast as the main character Hermione Lodge in the teen drama series Riverdale (2017-present).
