Maya Hawke, the daughter of actors Uma Thurman and Ethan Hawke, is a model, actress by profession, and American by nationality. She is well known for starring in Little Women as Jo March and in Stranger Things as Robin.

Maya Hawke’s birth took place on July 8, 1998, in New York City, New York, USA. She was born as Maya Ray Thurman Hawke to mother Uma Thurman and father Ethan Hawke, who are both actors. She is not the only child of her parents and has a younger sibling, brother Levon Roan Thurman-Hawke. Her grandparents were also in the entertainment business.

After her parents divorced in 2005, her father remarried. Maya Hawke has two younger half-sisters Clementine Hawke, and Indiana Hawke from his father’s side and a half-sister from his mother’s side named Rosalind Arusha Arkadina Altalune Florence Thurman-Busson, or simply Luna.

For education, Maya Hawke attended Saint Ann's School. After graduation, she enrolled at the performing arts school Julliard but dropped out after a year to star in Little Women. She has dyslexia, which resulted in her changing schools frequently.

Maya Hawke is currently in a relationship with a mystery man. She introduced her boyfriend via social media in February 2019 but did not give out his name. However, the couple seems to have broken up after a couple of years.

Hawke began dating musician Spencer Barnett in February 2022. The news came after the pair were spotted kissing.

Maya Hawke began her career as a model at a young age. Just like her mother and grandmother, she had the opportunity to model for Vogue and was chosen as the face of the British fashion retailer All Saints' 2016/2017 collection. She has also worked with Calvin Klein's underwear range.

Actress

While still a student at Julliard, Maya Hawke landed the role of Jo March in 2017’s Little Women. Next, she was cast in 2019’s Stranger Things as Robin, a main role in the series. This was followed by roles in the films Once Upon a Time in Hollywood (2019), and Ladyworld (2019) while the films Human Capital and Mainstream are in the post-production phase.
