Mike Clevinger is a baseball player by profession and American by nationality. He is currently the baseball pitcher for the Cleveland Indians of Major League Baseball (MLB).

Mike Clevinger’s birth took place on December 21, 1990, in Jacksonville, Florida, USA. He was born Michael Anthony Clevinger to his father Isaac Donald Clevinger and his mother Lena Clevinger. He is not the only child of his parents. He has older siblings- a brother and a sister and a younger brother who got married in September 2021. In fact, he is a great uncle!

Mike Clevinger – Career
Early days
In 2011 Mike Clevinger was selected in the round of the Major League Baseball draft by the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. The same year he played for the rookie-level team Orem Owlz and was promoted to Cedar Rapids Kernels the very next year.
On August 7, 2014, Clevinger was traded to the Cleveland Indians for Vinnie Pestano. In 2015 he plated with Minor League Baseball’s Akron RubberDucks, going 9-8 with a 2.73 earned run average (ERA).

In MLB
Mike Clevinger made his Major League Baseball debut on May 18, 2016. But he returned to the minor leagues after and played the next three months with the Columbus Clippers earning 11 wins, a loss, and a 3.00 ERA.
He was called back to MLB on August 4, 2016, in a game against the Minnesota Twins. In the season, Mike Clevinger played 17 games, going 3-3 in 53 innings. But the injuries in 2017 made him step into the rotation.
