Naomi Wolf is an author, journalist, and former political advisor by profession, and American by nationality. She is best known for her books The Beauty Myth, The End of America, and V**ina: A New Biography.

Naomi Wolf’s birth took place on November 12, 1962, in San Francisco, California, USA. She was born Naomi R. Wolf to parents Deborah Goleman and Leonard Wolf. Her mother is an anthropologist and the author of The Lesbian Community and her father is a gothic horror scholar and Yiddish translator.
She has a sibling, an older and two half-siblings- half brother and a half-sister through her father’s side.
Education, Ethnicity
Naomi Wolf attended Lowell High School where she was a member of the Lowell Forensic Society. She then attended Yale University, graduating in 1984 with a Bachelor of Arts in English literature. From 1985 to 1987, Wolf was a Rhodes Scholar at New College, Oxford.
Her ethnicity is Ashkenazi-Jewish.

Wolf married her longtime boyfriend David Shipley, a journalist in 1990. She and her husband have two children together. Their daughter Rosa Shipley was born in 1995 and their son Joseph Shipley was born in 2000.
However, the couple did not stay together for long after the birth of their second child. They separated and the divorce was finalized in 2005.
As of 2023, she is currently dating Brian O'Shea who is a producer. They have been together for a couple of years.

As of 2019, Naomi Wolf has published 12 books. These include Fire With Fire (1993), Promiscuities (1997), Naomi Wolf Backlist (1998), Misconceptions (2001), The treehouse (2005), The Inner Compass for Ethics and Excellence Daniel Goleman (2007), The End of America (2007).

In her latest book Outrages: Sex, Censorship and the Criminalisation of Love, she realized that there were errors. She realized the mistake in a radio interview on-air. She later said that she was correcting portions of her book.
As a political consult and others
Naomi Wolf also worked as a political advisor to Al Gore in the unsuccessful 2000 presidential bid and Bill Clinton in his 1996 re-election bid.
She has also co-founded DailyClout.io, a tech company that builds digital citizenship tools, and severs as CEO of DailyClout.com.

Naomi Wolf – Sexual accusation
Wolf wrote an article for New York magazine in 2004 accusing literary scholar Harold Bloom of a "sexual encroachment" by touching her thigh more than 20 years ago.
She also added that she had tried to deal with Yale privately on the matter. But even after almost a year of calls and e-mails, the issue had still been kept intact and secretive. So, she decided to go public with the issue.
