P. K. Subban is an ice hockey player by profession and Canadian by nationality. He is the defenceman for the New Jersey Devils of the National Hockey League (NHL).

P. K. Subban’s birth took place on May 13, 1989, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He was born as Pernell-Karl Sylvester Subban to father Karl Subban, a school principal, and mother Maria Subban. Karl had immigrated from Jamaica to Sudbury while Maria had come from Montserrat to Hamilton.
Subban is not the only child of his parents and has four siblings- sisters Nastassia Subban, and Natasha Subban, and brothers Jordan Subban, and Malcolm Subban who are both ice hockey players.

P. K. Subban completed his high school education at Runnymede Collegiate Institute. He belongs to Jamaican, and Montserratian ethnicity.

P. K. Subban began dating Lindsey Vonn, an American skier in June 2018. After a year of dating, they announced their engagement on August 23, 2019. And on December 25, 2019, his girlfriend proposed to him.
In December 2020, having postponed their wedding date, the couple separated.
He is yet to marry his fiancé and take her as his wife. He does not have any children and since he has never been married, divorce is out of context.
Lindsey was previously married to Thomas Vonn, also a Ski Racer.

Hockey Leagues
Subban started his junior career in ice hockey with the Belleville Bulls of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL). He played for the team from 2005 to 2009 seasons.
In May 2009 P. K. Subban was signed to a three-year contract by the Montreal Canadiens. His 2009-2010 season began with the Hamilton Bulldogs, Montreal's American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate. He played for the team until the 2015 season.
On June 29, 2016, Subban was traded to Nashville Predators. With the team, he played against the Pittsburgh Penguins. On June 22, 2019, P. K. Subban was traded to the New Jersey Devils in the 2019 NHL Entry Draft.
International Games
Subban played for his home country Canada at the 2008 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships and at the 2014 Winter Olympics. He had been invited to participate in the 2012 IIHF World Championship but could not play due to his injury obtained during pre-tournament play.
