Who is QPark?
QPark is a YouTuber, social media influencer, and comedian by profession. Although he was well employed as a banker, he left it all to pursue a career in entertainment and YouTube.
QPark – Age, Parents, Siblings
Born in South Korea on July 19, 1979, as Joyce Tanner, QPark is one of the most influential YouTubers and former Viner. Although there is not much information on his parents and family, we do know that he has a brother.
Education, Ethnicity
At a young age, he moved to the United States with his family. He studied at the Horace Mann School from the year 1990 to 1996. After completing high school, QPark studied at Yale University, graduating from the same with a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics in the year 2000.
His ethnicity is Korean.
QPark – Girlfriend, Wife, Children, Divorce
QPark is dating Edith Mariee Oquendo. He has been in a relationship with his girlfriend for a long time, i.e. since 2012. He features her in his Youtube videos once in a while. Most of the time, she helps her long-time boyfriend out by acting as a camera person.
The couple has not announced their engagement. So, he is not married and does not have children as well. They currently live in New York City.

QPark – Career
Job before fame
QPark searched for a normal job after graduating from college. He was hired by the New York-based Merrill Lynch financial services. There he worked for two years as an analyst in the energy and power department.
He then quit his position there and joined Morgan Joseph & Co., Inc. as the vice president of the media and entertainment department. In his new work, he worked hard, often working about a hundred hours a week! After working there for six years, QPark quit the job.
Hoping to establish a business of his own, QPark opened a Korean BBQ restaurant. His restaurant was successful. Within a few more years, he was able to open three more such restaurants. Although he found success in his new ventures, he began to realize that he did not have a passion to make food.
In Social Media
Around this time, social media was already on the rise. So, QPark thought of making a career out of it. In 2013, he opened a Vine account and started making videos to make people laugh. And he accidentally made himself a comedian. So in 2014, he sold all his restaurants to do so.
But What does QPark stand for? It is the combination of his first and last name.
His hilarious content was much liked by his online audience and before long, he had over three million followers. This was followed by advertisement deals with lists of commercial brands- Pepsi, Hewlett Packard, Smirnoff, TNT, Virgin Mobile, Spotify, Dunkin Donuts, Gap, Budweiser, TBS, Kia, Comcast, Charmin, Marvel, VH1, and Adult Swim.
After Vine close down in 2017, Instagram became his choice.
QPark opened a channel on YouTube using his pen name QPark as well and people flocked to see his videos. As of 2019, he has over 5.4 million subscribers on his YouTube channel. His videos are mostly filmed in public areas where he breaks out in brave dance moves or walks around in the most hilarious outfits.
