Williams began her professional career as an actress in 1995, her debut role being in BAC’s soap opera One Life to Live as Lorna Van Skyver. She made regular appearances on the show until 1996. This was followed by guest roles in the TV series Strangers with Candy (2000), As the World Turns (2001-2002), Strong Medicine (2005), Half & Half (2005), and Veronica Mars (2006).

She portrayed the main character Bianca Foster in the short-lived prime-time telenovela Monarch Cove in the year 2006.
