Intrigued by film and acting scenes, 11-year-old Philip Anthony-Rodriguez began working with a young people's performing group in New York City called Acting by Children. His talent and good looks were recognized by management group Niederlitz and Steele who eventually signed him.
His screen debut was in an episode of the 1995 TV series New York News. This was followed by roles in the TV series Law & Order (1997, 2000), Third Watch (2000), Becker (2002), Star Trek: Enterprise (2003), and in the films Academy Boyz (1997), Undercurrent (1998), etc. Anthony-Rodriguez’s portrayal of Kyle Durate in 16 episodes of the science fiction TV series Jake 2.0 (2003-2004) gained him wide recognition.
