Born as Analeigh Christian Tipton, Lio Tipton is an actress, model by profession, and American by nationality. After finishing third in Cycle 11 of America's Next Top Model, they are best known for starring in the films Crazy, Stupid, Love, Two Night Stand, and Warm Bodies.

Early Days
Tipton began ice skating when they were two and a half years old and eventually competed in four U.S. Synchronized Skating Championships. Alongside their partner Phillip Cooke, they became regional champions twice and also competed at the Juvenile level’s U.S. Junior Figure Skating Championships. At the age of 16, Lio Tipton retired from skating. They do, however, skate for charity ice shows.
Modeling
Lio Tipton began working as a model and was signed to I Model & Talent in Los Angeles. For designer Kelly Nishimoto, they walked in the Los Angeles Fashion Week Fall 2008 collection called Imasu. Tipton went on to compete in Cycle 11 of America's Next Top Model in 2008 where they finished third. They were then signed with Ford Models in Los Angeles and Abrams Artists Agency.
Since then Lio Tipton has appeared in Spain's Marie Claire, Seventeen magazine's December 2008 – January 2009 issue, Maxin, and Vogue. They have also worked for designers Geren Ford, Skingraft, and David Alexander, and have been featured in Forever 21 and Guess.
Tipton was almost a victim of human trafficking after she was scammed by someone posing as a modeling agent who had set them up to meet some men for modeling work. Instead, they were set up on a dinner date with a Saudi prince who later paid a sum of money for her to be his wife.

Tipton’s screen debut was in a 2008 episode of The Big Bang Theory. The role of Jessica Riley in the film Crazy, Stupid, Love (2011) is the breakthrough in their acting career.
