Nick Frost’s birth took place on 28 March 1972 in Hornchurch, Essex, England. His full name is Nicholas John Frost. His mother Tricia and father John Frost were both office furniture designers. His 18-year-old sister died of an asthma attack when he was 10 years old.

Five years later after his parents’ business failed, they lost their family home. So they had to move into their neighbor's home. As a result of stress, his mother suffered a stroke.

For education, Nick Frost attended Beal High School. After his family faced a financial crisis, he left school and began to work for a shipping company to support the family. Nick Frost married his girlfriend Christina, who is a production executive, in 2008 after years of dating. His wife welcomed their son, Mac Frost, on 22 June 2011. However, they separated in 2013. Their divorce was finalized in 2015.
