50 Cent to fight for sole custody of son, ex Daphne Joy named as sex worker in Diddy lawsuit
Rapper 50 Cent plans to seek sole custody of his son Sire, whom he shares with ex-girlfriend Daphne Joy.
The decision comes after she was named as an alleged sex worker in the sex trafficking lawsuit against Sean “Diddy” Combs.
A source told the US Weekly, “Given the latest developments and news of Daphne Joy’s involvement in the Diddy lawsuit, 50 is going for sole custody of his son.”
The parents of Sire, now 11 years old, dated from 2011 to 2012.
The 48-year-old In Da Club hitmaker is also a father to son Marquise, 27, whom he shares with ex Shaniqua Tompkins.
In the ongoing $30 million lawsuit filed by Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones against Diddy, several high-profile personalities have been named including Prince Harry, model Jade Ramey, Yung Miami, and now OnlyFans model Daphne Joy, 37.
Jones has claimed Diddy plays the alleged sex workers' monthly stipend.
“I didn’t know you was a sex worker, you little sex worker.LOL. Yo, this s–t is a movie,” 50 Cent, born Curtis James Jackson III, jabbed his ex via Instagram.
Although Joy has not addressed the accusation, she did post a cryptic message on Instagram.
“Thank you God for your love,” she wrote as she goes through a “difficult time.”
The raid on the property comes amid numerous lawsuits being filed against Diddy – including accusations of assault and human trafficking.
In November 2023, Diddy’s ex-girlfriend Casandra “Cassie” Ventura was first to accuse him of rape, abuse, and forcing her to have sex with male prostitutes as he watched. The case was swiftly settled out of court - just a day after filing - as he dodged a trial to address the allegations.
American singer Aubrey O'Day had previously criticized the justice system amid the Diddy-Cassie lawsuit settlement. Over the years she had accused Diddy of making unwanted sexual advances and being involved in shady business practices.
Just weeks after settling the case with Cassie, he was charged with three other lawsuits from women claiming sexual assault by him.
One woman claimed that in the early 1990s, she and a friend of hers were raped by Diddy and singer Aaron Hall.
Another woman accused Diddy of gang raping her in 2003 when he was 34 and she was 17 years old.
Jones, who is a producer and videographer, claimed the abuse occurred repeatedly from September 2022 to November 2023. He also alleged that his former employer forced him to perform inappropriate acts with sex workers – with claims that he once woke up in bed with his boss – all drugged up.
