Alyssa Scott welcomes Nick Cannon’s 12th child- a year after son Zen’s death
Alyssa Scott has welcomed her rainbow baby.
The model gave birth to her third child- daughter Halo Marie Cannon, on December 14, 2022.

She and Nick Cannon’s son Zen passed away in December 2021 at the age of 5 months from brain cancer.
“Our lives are forever changed,” she captioned the Instagram video of her pregnancy journey.
Scott continued, “Zen is in every breath I take. I know his spirit was with us in the room that morning. I know he is watching down on us, he shows me signs everyday. I will hold onto this memory forever.”
As the model honored her late son she wrote, “I will remember the sound of Nicks' voice saying “it’s a girl” and the look of everything we’ve been through flash across his face. I will remember the sound of her crying out with her first breath and feeling her heartbeat against mine. My sweet girl, I got my surprise!! We love you.”
Scott, 29 is also mother to daughter Zeela, whom she welcomed in February 2018. With partner TV host Nick Cannon, 42, she had given birth to a son Zen in June 2021.

After Zen’s death in Dec 2021, Cannon praised Scott on his Nick Cannon Show, “Alyssa was just the strongest woman I have ever seen. Never had an argument, never was angry. She was emotional when she needed to be but was always the best mom and continues to be the best mom possible.”
Six months later, he hinted that he was expanding his family due to the grief he experienced over Zen’s passing.
“Everybody saw I was so down. So everybody was like, ‘Let’s just give him a little v***na, and that’s gonna cure it all.’ I fell victim to it because I was in a weak state,” he joked.
Cannon has a total of 12 kids.
He shares twin boys Zion Mixolydian and Zillion Heir, 1, and Beautiful Zeppelin, 2 months with Abby De La Rosa. He and Bre Tiesi share a 5-month-old son, Legendary Love, with Brittany Bell he has a newborn son named Rise Messiah, a 5-year-old son Golden and a 2-year-old daughter Powerful Queen, with ex-wife Mariah Carey he has twins Moroccan and Monroe Cannon. With LaNisha Cole, he has a 3-month-old daughter named Onyx.
