Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver’s kids ‘don’t love’ his illegitimate son

When Arnold Schwarzenegger attended the premiere of his new Netflix show FUBAR, he was surrounded by the kids he shares with Maria Shriver. But the absence of his illegitimate son Joe Baena, while they posed together for pictures, was widely noticed.

The 75-year-old actor was cuddled up to his daughters Christina, 31, Katherine, 33, and son-in-law Chris Pratt while his look-alike lovechild Joe Baena walked the red carpet alone.

Although Schwarzenegger remains close to all his five children, it has been reported that his four children from his marriage with Maria Shriver still have no interest in developing relationships with their half-sibling Joe.

A source close to the actor shared that the former bodybuilder “are very close” to his son Joe, who is the product of his extra-marital affair with the family’s former housekeeper, Mildred Baena.

“But, to be honest, the other kids don’t love Joe. It’s a shame as he’s a really good kid, and Arnold has always treated him like all his other kids — very fairly. But for whatever reason, the other kids take [the affair] out on Joe,” the source added.

Joe Baena, 25, who took to his father’s profession of bodybuilding since the truth of his paternity became public in 2011, posted a picture of himself at the premiere on social media.

“I give FUBAR a 2 thumbs up!!! Had an amazing time last night at the FUBAR premier!,” the actor wrote on social media.

He continued, “The comedy, the action, and even that drama were all strongly displayed in episode 1 and makes me extremely excited for FUBAR to be on @netflix.”

Fans were quick to notice the public isolation Joe, who stars in the film Gunner alongside Morgan Freeman and Luke Hemsworth, was at the event.

An Instagram user wrote, “It’s disgusting how you are treated, man, by your own blood. Completely ignored due to something out of your control. Is it racial hostility? Who knows. At the end of the day use this bulls–t to fuel you.”

To the comment another one defended with own opinion, “...unless your parent had an affair and a child you didn’t know about, you don’t know what it’s like. At the end of the day, no one has to have a relationship with family just because they’re family and it’s okay for his siblings to protect their hearts from the pain....it will NEVER be on my child to fix the mess that he [the father] made. This stuff hurts people and it’s not your place to assume you know anything about it. Besides, we don’t know if Arnold has done anything to help the kids have a relationship.

Although it had been previously reported that Schwarzenegger’s children – Christina, Katherine, Patrick, and Christopher have a difficult relationship with Baena, this is the first time the tension between the half-siblings was publicly noticed.
