Ashley Graham, shares breastfeeding picture with husband Justin Ervin: reveals son’s name
New mom Ashley Graham is doting on her son, who she welcomed on January 18 with her husband Justin Ervin.
Just two weeks after she became a mom, the 32-year-old of supermodel shared an intimate photo of herself breastfeeding her little boy, who she revealed has been named Isaac Menelik Giovanni Ervin.
In the emotional Instagram post, Graham captioned, “I remember holding Isaac for the first time and telling Justin, “Now we’re family forever” I have so many reasons to be grateful; all of the love and support from this amazing community, an incredible husband, and a beautiful baby who has opened my eyes to just how amazing this world really is.”
She ended the post thanking her husband and her newborn son for being her favorite.
In Tuesday's episode of the Pretty Big Deal podcast, Ashley Graham revealed that she had a natural at-home water birth.
"If I would have had the birth at the hospital, I think anxiety would have been through the roof. But because I was here, the lights were dim, it was a chill environment, I got to eat whatever food I wanted to, I could be in bed, I could be in the pool," she added, “Seeing you with tears in your eyes and saying 'I can see his head' gave me so much strength to just push him out, and I really needed that.”
Ervin, 31 also chimed in about the name of their son, “Everything in his name is pointing to legacy.” while revealing that they Menelik as it means "son of the wise" and Giovanni to respect Graham's grandfather as well as the founder of a church where Ervin's parents had been "saved and baptized."
The couple confirmed that they had welcomed their bundle of joy into this world in late January in an Instagram post.
Graham had captioned the picture, “At 6:00 PM on 01/18/2020, we welcomed 7lbs 5oz of love into our world. Meeting our son has made our hearts incredibly full.”
The couple had been constantly updating their fans and followers on their pregnancy journey.
