Bryan Cranston’s COVID-19 battle: ‘Keep wearing the damn mask’
Bryan Cranston is sharing his experience with COVID-19 on Instagram.
The Breaking Bad star also sympathized with his followers saying “like me, you’re tired of this”. The actor also asked for a little more patience, ”About now you’re probably feeling a little tied down, restricting your mobility and like me, you’re tired of this!! Well, I just want to encourage you to have a little more patience.”
He also added that he was strict in adhering to the protocols, writing on Instagram, “I was pretty strict in adhering to the protocols and still... I contracted the virus. Yep. it sounds daunting now that over 150,000 Americans are dead because of it. I was one of the lucky ones. Mild symptoms.”
The 64-year-old actor was thankful on his post while giving advice to fellow humans, “I count my blessings and urge you to keep wearing the damn mask, keep washing your hands, and stay socially distant. We can prevail - but ONLY if we follow the rules together. Be well - Stay well. BC”
Cranston explained that he had the illness “a little while ago” and also shared a video of himself donating his antibody-positive plasma for research at the UCLA Blood and Plasma Donation Center.
Bryan Cranston and his Breaking Bad co-star Aaron Paul had announced in April that they were donating sales of their mezcal brand, Dos Hombres to numerous coronavirus relief organizations- namely the United States Bartender’s Guild, the Hospitality Industry Relief Fund, and Leonardo DiCaprio’s America’s Food Fund.
