Constance Wu pregnant with second child – shows off baby bump

Constance Wu has confirmed that she is pregnant with her second child – with musician Ryan Kattner.

Wu, 40, wrote on Instagram alongside a picture of her growing baby bump which she shares with her 42-year-old partner.

“Bun in the oven. Filipinese baby #2 coming soon.”

The news comes just weeks after the Crazy Rich Asians star was pictured with an obvious baby bump while taking a stroll in Los Angeles.

During the stroll, the actress wore casual black sweats, a striped shirt, and sneakers paired with a black New York Giants baseball cap.

This is a change from her previous pregnancy, which she had chosen to keep a secret.

Back in August 2020, Constance Wu became a mother for the first time after welcoming a baby girl with Ryan Kattner.

Since then the new parents have been secretive about their daughter, including her name.

Most recently, she fondly shared that her firstborn has a special birthmark that makes her butt turn blue.

She explained the condition, “Her butt is the color blue. There’s this thing, I had never heard of it before, but it’s called a Mongolian spot. Apparently, it happens in a lot of Asian babies, and my boyfriend and I are both Asian. And it’s where your butt is blue for like the first two years of your life, and then it just goes away.” 

Wu has also admitted that her co-star Chris Pratt helped her as a working mother.

“My first day on set was hard. I missed my baby. It was the hardest day to stay at work because it was so emotional, something so many moms go through on their first day back at work.”
