Danny Masterson transferred to prison after rape conviction – releases mugshot
Following a rape conviction, Danny Masterson has been sentenced to 30 years in prison.
In the mugshot, the actor seemed expressionless in an orange jumpsuit with a grown-out beard and unkempt hair.
After the 47-year-old was admitted to North Kern State Prison in Delano, California, the Los Angeles County Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation released the mugshot.
The That ’70s Show star was transferred from an LA jail where he had been incarcerated since his sentencing in September.
The disgraced actor was convicted of two counts of rape with force, violence, or fear of bodily injury.
Several of Masterson’s famous friends – including Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis – had tried to lessen his sentence by writing letters on his behalf.
However, Kutcher, 45, and Kunis, 40, subsequently faced major backlash – resulting in Kutcher resigning from his anti-sex trafficking organization.
Bijou Philip, 43, stood by her now-estranged husband through the trial.
Masterson was found guilty in May of committing two rapes in 2003.
Less than two weeks later, Philips filed for divorce. They were married for 12 years and share one child – daughter Fianna, 9.
In October 2023 Philip filed for legal and physical custody of their daughter.
Masterson filed to seek visitation rights with his daughter. The visitations, which have not been approved, would take place in prison and under supervision.
