Rapper Blueface is not getting out of jail until late summer

Last Modified: 1st Jan

Rapper Blueface has been jailed after a probation violation. He was summoned over by the court last week.

TMZ reported he will not be released for months – until late summer of 2024.

The 26-year-old made headlines last week after officials revealed he violated one or more of the terms of his probation. He was charged with a club beatdown assault case in Los Angeles a few years ago.

It is unclear what violations he has allegedly done this time.

Blueface, born Jonathan Jamall Porter, attended the hearing scheduled on Friday. Moreover, he has been cited for several probation violation hearings since his criminal case was filed.

There have been videos of the rapper, presumably making his way to court. In the videos, he reveals he was there “just there to handle some business” but added severity to the situation by saying he might be jailed right on the spot.

The outlet also reported he is currently in custody at the county jail and is not scheduled to be released until late this summer.

Although the rapper is not scheduled to be released until July 2, 2024, he might be released sooner due to overcrowding in jail.

Blueface’s mother Karlissa Saffold blamed her son’s current legal status on his baby mamas – Chrisean and Jaidyn. She claims that the mother of her grandchildren has brought him nothing but trouble.

The rapper’s manager Wack 100 also seems to share the same sentiment as Saffold.

Blueface is on probation in his Vegas strip club case as well. He did escape jail time in the November 2022 case but was ordered to pay over $12 million - $12 million for the venue's lost revenue and another $84k to cover lost wages for the employees - in October 2023.

Since then the accrued interest has raised the new total to over $14.3 million by January 2024.
