Ed Sheeran’s daughter is not a fan of her dad’s music- yet!
Ed Sheeran, who is quite private of his personal life, has shared that his daughter is not the number one fan of his songs.
In an interview with BBC Radio 1, Sheeran revealed, “Now I’ll sing [my new songs] to my daughter, who’s not my biggest fan. She just cries!”
Although his 8-month-old daughter Lyra Antarctica starts crying when she hears his music, the 30-year-old British singer added that there is at least one song she likes.
“She really likes ‘Shape of You.' The marimba sound is good, but she doesn’t like anything loud or anything belt-y.” he told the media.
Ed Sheeran and his wife Cherry Seaborn, who tied the knot in a low-profile wedding back in January 2019, welcomed daughter Lyra Antarctica in September 2020.
He had announced on Instagram, “Ello! A quick message from me as I have some personal news that I wanted to share with you… Last week, with the help of an amazing delivery team, Cherry gave birth to our beautiful and healthy daughter.”
“[W]e are on cloud nine over here,” he added.
The new parents are yet to share any pictures of their daughter on social media. Back in March, the family of three was spotted out together- with Sheeran holding a large umbrella over his girls as the new mom, Seaborn, held the baby stroller.
