Last Modified: 9th Sep

Elon Musk has secretly welcomed twins with Shivon Zilis in November 2021, director of operations and special projects at Neuralink, Business Insider has claimed.

The outlet released court documents where 51-year-old Tesla mogul and 36-year-old Zillis had filed a petition to change the name of the twins to have “their father’s last name and contain their mother’s last name as part of their middle name.”

Although the names of the children are not publicly known, an Austin, Texas judge did approve the order in May 2022.

The outlet further reported that the new set of twins was born just weeks before Musk and Grimes welcomed their second child – a daughter named Exa Dark Sideræl via surrogate in December 2021. They are also parents to son X Æ A-Xii, who is now two years old.

Musk, who is currently dating actress Natasha Bassett, has previously shared that he wants many children and the world doesn’t have enough people.

In January 2000, he married Canadian author Justine Wilson and welcomed his first child- son Nevada Alexander in 2002. However, Nevada tragically died of sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS) at just 10 weeks old. The pair went on to use IVF to welcome a set of twins in 2004 and a set of triplets in 2006 - Griffin, Vivian Jenna, Kai, Saxon, and Damian. They eventually divorced in 2008.

In 2020, while talking about fatherhood and his involvement in the lives of his children, he admitted to New York Times that he doesn’t play a prominent role in his kids’ lives when they’re young.

“Right now there’s not much I can do. Grimes (then girlfriend) has a much bigger role than me right now. When the kid gets older, there will be more of a role for me. I think just doing what I’ve done with my other kids.”
