Fantasia Barrino welcomes first child with husband Kendall Taylor

Fantasia Barrino is into motherhood again!

The American Idol welcomed their first child, a baby girl named Keziah London Taylor, with her husband Kendall Taylor.

“Happy Birthday to our little Angel 5-23-21 and may God keep and cover you for the rest of your days!” she said in an Instagram post on Monday alongside a picture of her wearing a leopard print dress, cradling the baby bump, and standing in front of an elephant.

“The Elephant is the animal I chose to surround @keziahlondontaylor with," revealing the name of her newborn daughter, “because it represents patience, strength, power, and remembrance.”

She continued to write, “ Just a few of the qualities that her presence has brought into our lives and this world. We were patiently waiting on you to enter this world and we will always remember the strength that it took for me and @salute1st to create something as powerful as your life itself.”

Barrino, 36, and Taylor, 40 are yet to share a picture of their daughter.

This is the third of Barrino. Her older daughter Zion Quari is 19 and her son Dallas Xavier, 8 from previous relationships. Taylor also has a child from a previous relationship- a son named Treyshaun.

Kendall Taylor, who is a businessman, also took to Instagram to share his excitement, “ Today I experienced something that rewrote my personal definition of a Black Woman. To observe my Queen @tasiasword bring my little Angel @keziahlondontaylor into this world elevated my understanding and sense of pride, respect, and admiration for black women.”

“Happy Birthday to my little Kezzy Bear!” he wished his newborn.

Barrino and Taylor married in 2015 after dating for three weeks. Barrino had been open about their struggle to conceive.
