Felicity Huffman’s daughter joins college with her own SAT score

Amid the 2019 college scandal, it was released that actress Felicity Huffman had tried to pay $15,000 in bribes to get her oldest daughter Sophia Macy into her first-choice college by having her SAT answers covertly corrected. Huffman had served 11 days in jail.

But Sophia Macy, who had no idea of her mother’s scheme or doubt, has proved that she could do it all by herself.

Page Six reported that the 19-year-old retook her SAT exams and has been accepted to the prestigious Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh. On her Instagram page, the young actress added CMU Drama ‘24 to her bio.

In the letter to the judge, Huffman had written, “When my daughter looked at me and asked with tears streaming down her face, ‘Why didn’t you believe in me? Why didn’t you think I could do it on my own?’ I had no adequate answer for her. I could only say, ‘I am sorry.’?”

Sofia is currently dating Miles Elliot, also an actor- known for Cooties, Dawn Patrol, and Camp.

Georgia Macy, 18, the younger sister of Sophia is going to Vassar in the fall while their father, actor William H. Macy has recently appeared in Jordan Peele’s The Twilight Zone.
