Halsey welcomes first child with boyfriend Alev Aydin

Halsey is a new mom!

The Bad at Love singer gave birth on July 14 to her first child with boyfriend Alev Aydin months after announcing her pregnancy. The new parents have named the baby Ender Ridley Aydin.

“Gratitude. For the most “rare” and euphoric birth. Powered by love.” the 26-year-old singer wrote alongside her Instagram post. 

Although Halsey did not reveal the sex of the newborn, it is well known that Ender is a popular male Turkish name.

In January 2021 Halsey, whose real name is Ashley Nicolette Frangipane, surprised fans with maternity pictures showing off her baby bump. She first confirmed her relationship with the 38-year-old producer and screenwriter Alev Aydin by tagging him in her pregnancy announcement.

“Heart so full, I love you, sweetness.” Aydin had commented in the said post.

In March she shared that her pregnancy was “100% planned” and that she had “tried very hard for this [baby].”

While it is unclear how long Halsey and Aydin have been dating, in May they sparked rumors that they had secretly married when they were seen wearing matching gold rings.

Halsey previously dated G-Eazy on and off from 2017 to 2018. She had suffered a miscarriage in 2015.
