HGTV's Jasmine Roth underwent sudden medical procedure after severe nose bleeds

Last Modified: 9th Sep

HGTV's Hidden Potential host Jasmine Roth has opened up about the recent and sudden health issue that she has been experiencing since giving birth to her first child, daughter Hazel, in April 2020.

Roth shared on social media that she had been getting nose bleeds since giving birth, which she thought was because of wearing a mask. But five months in she was still getting 5-30 nosebleeds per day.

She wrote alongside the post with a picture of herself and her daughter in a pool, “She (her dermatologist) referred me to an ENT (ears, nose, throat specialist) and I finally had my in-person appt yesterday afternoon (after another tele-med appt and a covid test...welcome to 2020).”

“Long story short, the hormones from having a baby spurred a growth in my nostril that needed to be surgically removed. I had the procedure booked for next week,” she added while explaining the story behind the picture. “Fast forward to our pool hangout, Hazel’s head barely hitting my nose, me handing her to Brett and running inside to shower and stop the bleeding...then me looking down in the shower to see the growth from my nostril sitting in a pool of blood on the shower floor.”

Jasmine Roth also shared that her nostril growth came out on its own but the bleeding was hard to control. So she called her doctor, “He immediately called me back and met us at his office where he numbed and then cauterized my nose. We were back home by 9 pm!.”

Brett Roth and Jasmine Roth have been married since 2013 and were roommates before starting to date.
