Hilary Duff slams July 4th partiers amid the coronavirus pandemic
Hilary Duff blasted some of California’s Fourth of July parties on Sunday, pointing out their alleged behavior amid the coronavirus crisis.
The 32-year-old actress and singer took to Instagram to share with her 15.2 million followers about her quiet day with family and where they “Drove by a raging house party on Mulholland.”
Describing the status of the party, she shared, “Ass*****. No masks (of course). Girls in bathing suits and Louboutins waiting to get in like a line at a club.”
Duff, who shares 1-year-old daughter Banks with her 33-year-old husband Matthew Koma, added how the actions could impact the future.
“California is in bad shape (in so many ways) but doesn’t everyone think we all want to go out freely and travel and enjoy summer? It really seems like Americans just don’t care about each other...somehow this pandemic has turned into a political stance between parties...that’s a head-scratcher for me,” she added, “Other countries have come together in a beautiful way to contain or be Covid free. It’s embarrassing that we are worse than ever because people need to party and Karens won’t wear masks!”
She then capped off her message with a hint about Kanye West’s presidential bid.
“Oh and I’m running for President,” she concluded.
With a rapid surge in Coronavirus cases in the United States, officials are struggling to contain the virus. As of Thursday, there have been 248,235 total cases reported in California with over 6,200 deaths.
