Jennifer Lawrence injured while filming ‘Don’t Look Up’

Jennifer Lawrence received an injury while shooting her new movie Don’t Look Up when the glass exploded on the est, hitting the actress in the face. According to sources, production was halted for the day following the accident.

“An explosion was set up for a stunt in which glass shatters,” a source said. “It was a stunt in which the glass was supposed to shatter — but it injured her.”

Lawrence, 30, was hurt as the glass scarily hit her near the eye and is expected to be OK although people on the set were shaken up by the accident.

The film has been being filmed in Boston. She plays a red-haired character astronomer Kate Dibiasky who attempts to sound the alarm that Earth’s safety is being threatened by an approaching asteroid.

The movie co-stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Cate Blanchett, Jonah Hill, Ariana Grande, Timothée Chalamet, and Matthew Perry and is directed by Adam McKay.
