Jill Duggar, Derick Dillard share pics of their rainbow baby with older siblings

Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard have shared the first picture of their newborn- a baby boy alongside his two older brothers.

“We are finally back on Instagram after being locked down & unable to post for a while!! In case you missed our blog post last week, “Freddy” Frederick Michael Dillard is here! He was born 7/7/2022 at 5:16 pm weighing 7lbs. 6oz. and is 20 inches long,” Jill announced alongside a picture of her rainbow baby in his crib.

After revealing that Frederick means Peaceful Ruler and Michael means Gift from God, the 31-year-old mama of three explained the special meaning behind the newborn’s name.

Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard, 33 married on June 21, 2014, and have two other children- sons Israel, 7, and Samuel, 5. All three siblings were featured on Duggar’s recent Instagram wearing T-shirts reading “Big”, “Middle”, and “Little”.

In October 2021, Duggar revealed that she had suffered a miscarriage during her third pregnancy.

“A few days later we started miscarrying. Even though it was too early to tell the baby's gender, we picked a name that we feel encompasses our baby's significance and the life we will always remember: River Bliss Dillard." 

Following the loss, the former reality star, well known for starring in the show 19 Kids and Counting, announced her pregnancy in February 2022.

“Ever since we were devastated last fall by the miscarriage of our sweet baby, River Bliss, we have prayed that, if it was God’s will, he would bless us with another baby. We are excited to announce that God has answered our prayers and we are expecting our rainbow baby due July 2022! We are so thankful for a healthy baby and pregnancy so far,” Duggar had written.
