Joséphine de La Baume, ex-wife of Mark Ronson, expecting first child

French actress Joséphine de La Baume is pregnant with her first child.

De La Baume, 38, showed off her baby bump in a maternity shoot for L’Officiel magazine which included a nude in a bathtub while getting kissed by her Fontaines D.C. guitar player partner Carlos O’Connell.

This is the first time the couple has confirmed their pregnancy since debuting a baby bump at a Garrard event in October when she wore a tight blue dress.

The father-to-be, Carlos O’Connell, announced on social media, “Blessed with a year of surprise and beauty. on to the next: chapter 1.”

De La Baume and O’Connell were first linked in 2020 after his post-punk group collaborated with her rock band, Film Noir. Since then they have made their romance Instagram official and walked multiple red carpets together.

She was married to British-American DJ and record producer Mark Ronson, 47, from September 2011 to 2018. They did not share any children.

Since the divorce, Ronson has moved on to date Grace Gummer and proposed to her in May 2021. He and Meryl Streep’s 36-year-old daughter married in August 2021. They are also expecting their first child together, which they announced in October 2022.
