Kate Mara and Jamie Bell welcome second child together

Kate Mara has become a mother for the second time after giving birth to a baby boy with Jamie Bell.

The new mama was pictured holding her baby while going to and from with photographer Sal Owen. The A Teacher star wore pink sweats and a hoodie while the newborn was dressed in a striped hat and shirt.

The 39-year-old had announced the birth on her Instagram page, “Had a baby a week ago. Here are his feet.”

In July 2022, Mara shared the news of her pregnancy in an Instagram post of herself holding hands with  Jamie Bell, 36. “There are three of us in this pic,” she had written.

This is the second child for the couple as she welcomed a daughter in May 2019. Jamie Bell, best known for his work in the film Billy Elliot, also has a son named Jack (born July 2013) with his now ex-wife Evan Rachel Wood.

Following their separation and eventual divorce, Wood, 34, told People in November 2016, “I think any separation, whether it’s amicable or not, is always difficult. But we’re always doing our best, and the most important thing is our son always comes first. Whatever issues the parents have, you’ve just got to get over that and put it to the side.”

Kate Mara and Jamie Bell got engaged in January 2017 and married in July 2017 in a small wedding ceremony.

He told late-night host James Corden in January 2018, “We spent the night on that property and we crossed the street and came home. Every day we come out of the house, we see the house we were married in, which is beautiful.”
