Kathie Lee Gifford looking for love 3 years after husband Frank Gifford’s death!

Kathie Lee Gifford, 65 was married to her husband Frank Gifford for almost 30 years before he passed away on August 9, 2015, at the age of 84 due to natural causes. Now, more than three years later, she is ready to move on.

Kathie Lee Gifford told Us Weekly at her Today show farewell party in New York City on March 26, 2019,

“I’m open to love, but I don’t think you go out and find love; I think that it finds you. I’m a woman of faith, so I also think that if God wants it, then he’ll bring it. Maybe I have [found love] already and just don’t know it. We’ll see.”

So, what is Gifford looking for in a partner? Hoda Kotb, her Today co-host joked, “Well, the main requirement for her is that they have all their own teeth. That’s very important!”

The singer went on saying that she is “feeling OK” now while admitting that it was not easy, “I was having a rough time [in the beginning]. But I allowing myself to feel OK.”

She had told the AARP magazine’s April/May 2019 issue, 

“If you’re not careful, what you’ve lost in life can define you. It’s so much healthier to be defined by what you still have. I’m making big changes in my life because I need to; really big changes that are feeding my soul. Otherwise, despair sets in and loneliness can be crippling.

I didn’t have to stay in this big house anymore. I found myself dealing with crippling loneliness. I had to make moves and spiritual moves. You gotta make new memories or the old ones are going to kill you.”

Gifford shared her romantic interest amid her revelation to leave Today’s show in December. Her last day as Today’s show host will be on Friday, April 5, 2019.

With her late husband, she has two children daughter Cassidy Erin Gifford (born on August 2, 1993) and son Cody Gifford (born on March 22, 1990).
