Katie Stevens and Paul DiGiovanni are new parents!

The Bold Type actress quietly gave birth to her and her husband Paul DiGiovanni’s first child last month.

“She’s here. 2.23.23 - Our sweet Rome, we are so in love with you,” she wrote alongside a series of pictures of the family photoshoot.

The 29-year-old remained secretive about her pregnancy and only debuted her baby bump at the CMA Awards in November 2022.

She walked the red carpet wearing a periwinkle gown that hugged her growing belly as her 34-year-old husband cradled her stomach.

The American Idol shared the pregnancy news on Instagram the same evening. “Seriously, like, have you seen my silhouette? Sheesh. It’s giving main character energy,” she mouthed in a Reel.

Just late in the same month, she updated her followers on her pregnancy via Instagram, “photo bump … i mean dump.”

Stevens met her 35-year-old musician husband when he moved in with her best guy friend.

“I saw a photo of them at a Clippers/Celtics game. So I texted [my friend] Gavie and said, ‘Who is that?’ He was like, ‘That’s my new roommate,’ so I said, ‘Cool, I’m coming over.',” she recalled seeing DiGiovanni for the first time.

The couple dated for five years before DiGiovanni proposed to her in February 2019. Just after over a year of engagement, they married in October 2019.

Featuring their wedding ceremony, Stevens gushed about her husband while celebrating their anniversary in October 2022, “I love you @paulblg and I’m so lucky that I get to live life with you. Still so grateful that I get to be loved by you. Happy Anniversary.”
